The new cooling/heating forcing system is used as laboratory equipment to validate Si components in temperature ranges from -60 ºC up to +150 ºC, with a cooling/heating envelope between 150W@-40 ºC, 650W@0 ºC, and 800W@100 ºC. The Samson system can support rack dimensions of 50 x 25 x 29 cm. Samson air cooling requires only a standard 208–230V 50Hz or 110–130V 60Hz outlet. Samson liquid cooling requires an additional chiller with a flow rate range of 3.0–1.8 liters per minute at 15 ºC (+/- 2 ºC). The total cooling system efficiency is approximately 55%.

Notably, Amazon has adopted Samson to streamline its cold-chain and temperature-sensitive shipments, leveraging the rapid 3 ºC/sec transition rate and built-in condensation prevention.
