DTC – Desktop Climate Chamber

DTC – Desktop Climate Chamber

The DTC is a thermal solution that controls the temperature of a working PCB in a small chamber and maintains temperature and airflow between -35 ºC and 80 ºC.

The DTC is designed as laboratory equipment to control the temperature of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) in a small chamber, maintaining a temperature range between 0  ºC and 100  ºC.

The system uses standard commercial R-134A refrigerant for cooling and power Si devices for heating.

The Mini Chamber consists of two main components:

  • The chamber where the PCB is evaluated
  • The control unit that regulates the chamber’s temperature

Advantages:

  • Compact, reliable, fluid-free, and quiet operation.
  • The new cooling/heating system enables validation of PCBs and Si components across a temperature range of 0  ºC to 100  ºC.
  • Achieves a total cooling system efficiency of approximately 55%.

Application:

Semiconductor PCB testing, compartment cooling
